A Note On Compilers
If you want to learn C programming you need a C compiler. If you do not have hundreds of dollars to spend on a commercial compiler like Visual C++, Borland or Watcom, then you can use one of the free compilers available on the web. One such compiler is available at

This series contains a set of tutorials that help you to learn about the C programming language. These tutorials start with the assumption that you know a procedural language like Pascal or Fortran already, and simply want to map that knowledge to C.
